There are countless types of travertines from around the world. Our specific travertines are from Peru and are known for their high quality. This is because the stones are more dense, which means you get a harder and lighter stone with less filler. To avoid the possibility of permanent staining the travertine tiles should be sealed with a high quality, penetrating sealer.
