Hardwood:

Bamboo

Environmentally Sensible

A truly sustainable harvested grass that regenerates at least 8 times faster than hardwood

Bamboo floors are manufactured from the bamboo plant. The majority of today's bamboo flooring products originate in China and other portions of Asia.

Bamboo flooring comes in 3 and 6 foot lengths. They can be installed just like any other hardwood floor. It can be glued down, nailed down, or floated.

Bamboo is considered an environmentally sensible, highly renewable source of material. Recently, this product has gained popularity with green builders and green building councils. Typically, each plant or tree can reach maturity in five to six years, whereas other more common hardwoods used for flooring can take upwards of 30 to 50 years. As bamboo’s popularity continues to grow, people are finding it a renewable, low maintenance, and durable choice for hardwood flooring.
